Norm joined Gurstel in 2018 as the Chief Operating Officer (“COO”) and is located in Gurstel’s Minnesota office. With 17 years of legal experience, Norm is an accomplished business-minded attorney who possesses a broad range of transactional and litigation experience focused on client collaboration to drive business objectives, reputation preservation and enhancement, and risk mitigation through the implementation of strategic solutions. Outside of his legal practice, Norm has successfully started and operated a few business ventures; all possessing a national footprint. Accordingly, as the COO at Gurstel, Norm marries his legal background with his passion for operating businesses in order to assist Gurstel and its clients to achieve optimal results.

Norm is a 2003 graduate of the William Mitchell College of Law and is licensed in Minnesota. Norm has been recognized by his peers and has been a multiple- year recipient of Rising Stars-Super Lawyer.
